Hello!

I am Marina Zhuravleva, the owner of the cattery „BalticFold”, and I greet you in our virtual house! Our cattery is located in the wondrous beautiful city- Riga(Latvia). The cattery is registrated in WCF, Catfold.

The history of our cattery began on that gloomy rainy day in autumn, when a little miracle –blue-color cat Bonny Aginaldo Vevada appeared in our house. Cats have lived in our family since my childhood and a cat of the oldest breed –a home pet , has been living with us for 13 years.

But Bonny was unlike the others. He seemed to came from a fairy-tale. His round face with large, wide eyes, opened towards the world , little funny folded ears and tender character won my heart. In autumn, when the border between the grey sky and the grey asphalt disappeared on account of the drizzle outside, the wonderful flower of Scottish meadows was blooming in our house. We were so pleased watching him. And thanks to him I began to love ScottishFold cats. They are really the most incredible and loving animals. If you are the owner of Scottish fold cat you won’t wish any other breed.

Our pet was growing and I was interested in these cats more and more.

Later a little Scottish straight pussy-cat from Moscow cattery MORMOT (breeder N. Kozorez) arrived to live with us. After her appearance, these funny cats charmed also my parents. They began to help me on hard hobby of breeding.
